At CJ Home Maintenance Ltd we understand how important it is to approach listed building repairs sensitively. We recognise the historical importance of listed buildings and that repairs and alterations should be made in a way that does not affect their historical character.

We strive to replicate as close as possible the original mortars and plasters used when historical buildings were built. Over the years improper use of materials, ie; cement based products and modern emulsion paints have subsequently caused damage to the masonry of listed buildings, often irreparably. Our lime mortar specialists believe that these buildings are worth protecting and we are passionate in our use of the correct traditional processes.

We are experienced in historical building conservation and restorations including listed building repairs in Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. We have worked on ecclesiastical structures providing church masonry repairs in the Bristol area.

We also have experience in writing method statements for listed building consent to local authorities if this is required.
